PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN MODEL

All of my services are offered on a 40% sliding scale. This means that you can opt to pay up to 40% less or up to 40% more than my regular rate for any service.

REGULAR RATE:

The normal rate I charge for services. Always lower than industry standards.

DISCOUNTED RATE:

Up to 40% off the regular rate. No questions asked, no justifications necessary.

PAY-IT-FORWARD RATE:

Up to 40% more than the regular rate. Helps supplement discounted services purchased by others.

PAYMENT PLANS:

I’m happy to set up a plan for you to pay in smaller instalments if necessary. This can be as flexible as you need it to be. There will never be any interest rates or additional fees.

WEBSITE DESIGN

  • REGULAR RATE: $1,300

    SLIDING SCALE: $780 - $1,820

    INCLUDES:

    • 5 website pages ($100 per additional page, sliding scale eligible)

    • 30 minute initial consult (virtual)

    • Ongoing maintenance and updates (bigger jobs require additional fees)

    • User training (for example, I can teach you how to update a calendar on your own)

    • Access to Squarespace-generated analytics reports

  • Additional fees are not eligible for sliding-scale. You will have to pay domain and hosting fees regardless of who makes your website and what platform is used.

    DOMAIN COST:

    • ~$30 annually

    • FREE for the first year

    • WHOIS Privacy, SSL, and Premium DNS included

    • Existing domains can be easily transferred

    HOSTING FEE:

    • I recommend the ‘basic’ plan. It’s the cheapest option and works great.

    • $250/year or $30/month (+ applicable taxes)

    • 20% off first year

BUSINESS CARDS

  • REGULAR RATE: $125

    SLIDING SCALE: $75 - $175

  • Additional fees are not eligible for sliding-scale. I print and order all business cards through VistaPrint. However, I can also provide you with the design if you’d like to print them yourself.

    PRINTING:

    • Starts around $28/100 cards (minimum order)

    • Depends on selected card customizations. Certain upgrades have additional fees. For all customization options, visit www.vistaprint.ca/business-cards

    SHIPPING:

    • Shipping cost depends on order

    • Free standard shipping for orders over $75

BRAND CONSULTING

  • REGULAR RATE: $100/hour

    SLIDING SCALE: $60/hour - $140/hour

  • All consultations are held virtually. Every session is tailored to your specific needs. They can involve things like:

    • Brand development

    • Design feedback

    • Strategic brainstorming

    • Advice and mentorship

    • Tutorials and skill sharing

    • Resources and recommendations

    • Business plan development

    • Vision board creation

    • Setting SMART goals
